Polycom's HDX 8000 Series, as well as the other Polycom HDX Series, provides High Definition, video collaboration for a wide option of Conferencing environments.
True, High Definition (720p) resolution (at 30 fps) for HD widescreen displays. Share desktop documents with Polycom's People+Content™ & People+Content™ IP & People On Content™ to conference end-points. Polycom’s HD Voice™ (22 kHz CD quality) & StereoSurround™ (along HDX Microphone Arrays or HDX Ceiling Microphones) provide exceptional, conference audio quality. EagleEye™ HD Camera provides 1280x720 resolution at 60 fps and has a 12x PTZ with 180-degree panning radius. Loss Packet Recovery (LPR™) automatically provides QoS for consistant Video & Audio stream.

Polycom's 1080p resolution HDX video system is the HDX 8006 1080p. The HDX 8006 also introduces Polycom's EagleEye 1080 HD Camera. The HDX 8006 provides 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution at 30 fps as well as also being capable of providing 720p resolution at 60 fps.
Polycom recently introduced its newest model to the High Definition Video Group, the HDX 6000 720p HD video unit (Widescreen 16:9 & 1280x720 resolution at 832 Kbps).
