On May 1 2010, Polycom implemented HDX Software Version 2.6 for HDX Codecs, which when updated will support H.264 High Profile (H264HP). H264HP, when installed on the Polycom HDX end-points involved in a video conferece, reduces network bandwidth utilization up to 50%.
